- 1 cup milk
- 3/4 cup granulated sugar
- pinch salt
- 2 cups heavy cream
- 1 T vanilla extract
- 2 drops Young Living peppermint oil
- 1/8 cup of cacao nibs
Instructions:
- In a medium bowl, whisk together the milk, sugar and salt until the sugar dissolves.
- Stir in the cream, peppermint oil and vanilla.
- Cover and place in refrigerator for 1 to 2 hours or overnight.
- Turn on your ice cream maker (we like our Cuisinart ICE-21model). Pour the mixture into the frozen freezer bowl and let mix until thickened, about 15-20 minutes. Add the cacao nibs and allow to mix an additional five minutes or until well blended.
